General Info
Hi folks ... I am new to this site and not exactly sure how the "bulletins" are supposed to work so please forgive me if I commit any faux pas. I was referred to this group by David Presley. I am trying to prepare for the Kennesaw half marathon on 9/19 and the Chickamauga full marathon on 11/13. I have been doing 2-3 shorter runs on weekday mornings and a longer run on the weekend (usually Saturday). I have the long run up to 10 miles now. David suggested I start doing at least the long run with a group (I have for the most part been running solo up to this point). My rough time goals are a 2:20 half marathon and a sub 5 hour marathon ... in other words a pace in the upper 10s/low 11s. (My per mile pace for 10 miles yesterday was 10:46.) So ... if any of you are doing Saturday morning runs at roughly my pace, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks in advance!

Mid-Week Runs
We are meeting on Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM at Fast Break Athletics for an easy 3-6 mile run. Most of us run slow, so if you are new to running or are recovering from an injury you might want to join us. We generally go out to eat after the run at a local restaurant for running tales and running fellowship afterwards! We won't babysit you, but we will help you get started!
